Anika

Anika Warren Wood

Anika is a member of DRK’s Operating Committee, a leadership team that sets priorities, manages organizational culture, and develops strategies for the Foundation. Anika is responsible for driving organizational effectiveness to maximize impact on DRK’s portfolio and optimize team performance, productivity and culture.

She also provides principal support for talent recruitment and development. Together with DRK colleagues, Anika developed and sustains board sourcing, executive coaching, leadership and organizational assessments, and strategic engagement programs for portfolio organizations, donor partners and talent, identifies organizational effectiveness opportunities, implements proven best practices, and supports strategic directions of portfolio organizations.

Anika currently serves on the board of DRK grantees FreeFrom, Labhya Foundation, Lessonbee, Teaching Lab, and Worth Rises. She previously served on the board of DRK grantee The Common Market.

Anika has a B.B.A. in Finance from Howard University; an M.A. and an M.Ed. in Psychological Counseling from Columbia University, specializing in organizational, school, and multicultural psychology; and a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Boston College.
