Henry Leen Magahis

Dr. Henry Leen A. Magahis is a technology integrator, consultant, researcher, scholar, writer, editor, and educator. He is recognized locally and internationally as an Apple Distinguished Educator, Google Certified Educator Level 2, Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert, and Microsoft Certified Educator.

He is the Concurrent Executive Director of the E. Zobel Foundation, Inc. and the School Principal of the Enrique Zobel Technical Center. He took his Doctor of Philosophy and Master of Arts in Philippine Studies – Language, Culture, and Media at De La Salle University, Manila. He is also a graduate of Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Filipino at Philippine Normal University, Manila. As a researcher, his works revolve around Education Technology, Philippine Study, Semiotics, Gender Equality, Comparative Studies and Analysis, and many other interesting topics.

He is one of the founding editors of SINAYA, a pioneer and flagship research journal for the senior high school teachers and students of the Philippines jointly managed by De La Salle University, De La Salle Lipa, and De La Salle Santiago Zobel where he formerly worked as the Research and Immersion Coordinator of the Senior High School.

In addition, together with distinguished educators, they started a national organization called Networked Learning PH, Inc, a professional organization of online teachers and ICT for education researchers in the Philippines that promotes inclusive education by training teachers to gain and demonstrate competencies in line with 21st-century education. Because of all his commendable works, he was recognized by the National Research Council of the Philippines as an Associate Member of the organization.
